Recommended Practices for Safety and Health Practices

In October of 2016, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) released its “Recommended Practices for Safety and Health Programs” which updates the traditional five core elements for effective safety and health management systems. The new model includes seven core elements:

  1. Management Leadership
  2. Worker Participation
  3. Hazard Identification and Assessment
